Leon User Agreement

1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Leon, your personal management assistant application ("the App"). This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you ("User", "you", or "your") and the developer of Leon ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the App.

Leon is designed to operate without requiring user account creation or login credentials. All data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to cloud services, which are subject to the terms of those third-party providers.

2. Core Functionality & Usage

Leon integrates four primary tools for personal organization: a recipe manager, birthday reminders, an event planner, and a notebook system. You may use these tools for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Commercial use of the App or its content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from us.

• You may create, edit, and delete records (recipes, events, notes, birthday entries) within the App at your discretion.
• You may personalize records with personal photos, color-coded tags, and detailed descriptions, which remain your intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
• The App includes a virtual coin system for accessing advanced features. Coins are earned through regular use or may be purchased within the App. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or transferred to other users or platforms.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security and integrity of your device and all data stored within the App.
• Ensuring that all content you input into the App (including but not limited to text, images, and notes) complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of third parties.
• Backing up your data. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or other user error.
• Complying with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to your use of the App, including those governing data privacy and intellectual property.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to the design, interface, text, graphics, logos, and software code, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and international treaties.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App.
• Use the App's name, logo, or branding without our explicit written permission.

Content you create within the App remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide the App's services to you.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or business interruption.

6. Modifications to Agreement & App

We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at our discretion, without prior notice or liability to you.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
